1. Scope
This policy covers the SketchForge PCB landing experience and browser-based PCB application. It does not cover third-party destinations such as GitHub.
2. PCB projects and files
PCB projects, circuit scenes, board outlines, component placement, and related project state are processed in the browser. Project data is stored using browser storage on your device. Imported files are read locally by the application for the features you request.
3. Browser storage
SketchForge PCB uses local browser storage for your project list, individual project scenes, and editor state needed to reopen work. Clearing site data or using browser privacy controls can remove locally stored projects. Export important work before clearing browser data.
4. No account requirement
The current local-first PCB application does not require an account to create, edit, preview, or export a PCB project.
5. Hosting and external links
The hosting provider may process ordinary request information needed to deliver the website, such as network information, request time, browser information, and approximate location. External sites are governed by their own privacy policies.
6. Your control
You can manage SketchForge PCB project data directly in the application and through your browser storage controls. You are responsible for securing your device, browser profile, and exported project files.
7. Changes and contact
Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Questions can be raised through the SketchForge PCB GitHub repository. Do not post private project files or sensitive information in public issues.
