1. Using SketchForge PCB
You may use SketchForge PCB to create, import, edit, inspect, and export PCB projects in your browser. The current application does not require an account or payment.
2. Local project storage
Projects are intended to be stored in browser storage on your device. SketchForge PCB does not promise that browser storage will be permanent. You should export or back up important work before clearing browser data, changing devices, or relying on a project for manufacturing.
3. Your designs
You retain responsibility for the designs and files you create or import. You must have the right to use imported content and must not use the application in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
4. Engineering and fabrication checks
Design checks, 3D previews, footprints, routing views, and exports are tools to assist your work; they are not a guarantee that a board is electrically correct, manufacturable, safe, or suitable for a particular purpose. Verify dimensions, footprints, clearances, nets, polarity, drill sizes, layers, and fabrication outputs with the requirements of your manufacturer and components.
5. Availability and changes
The software may change, gain or lose features, or contain defects. No uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every browser, file, component, or fabrication workflow is guaranteed.
6. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, SketchForge PCB is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the SketchForge contributors are not responsible for losses arising from lost browser data, fabrication errors, component damage, failed boards, manufacturing costs, or reliance on unverified design output.
8. Contact and changes
Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Questions can be raised through the SketchForge PCB GitHub repository.
